Meet the team

Tanya Simon-Hall

Tanya is the Founder of The Adeno Gang in 2021, following her Adenomyosis and Endometriosis diagnosis, originated as an Instagram platform to raise awareness about Adenomyosis and women's health.
While advocating, it became evident that many women and young girls lacked the necessary knowledge to manage their menstrual health effectively.

Leveraging her 21 years of experience working with young individuals and conducting workshops, Tanya introduced The Adeno Gang Menstrual Health Workshop, focused on the full spectrum of concerns including endometriosis', adenomyosis, heavy menstrual bleeding, perimenopause. From spotting sign and symptoms to cycle management to changing policy.

Tanya dedication to women's health has positioned her as a seasoned expert speaker and The Adeno Gang as contributors to the Department of Education (DfE), Period Products Scheme, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), and Women's Health Strategy for England.

LOUISE MENSAH

Louise is the Operations Manager at ‘The Adeno Gang, and responsible for overseeing the running of projects and also grammar police for all things editorial.

Louise’s key mission of work is to raise more awareness on the interconnectedness of menstrual and mental health. One of the things that unites gynaecological conditions is the impact they have on mental health.
The stats show that women with gynae conditions are more likely to have poorer mental health outcomes (included but not limited to) being more stressed, depressed, anxious, or fearful than those who don't- yet despite this when symptoms are mentioned, mental/ emotional ones are routinely left out of the picture.

Outside of TAG, I like to describe myself as a wearer of many hats. I am the epitome of a multi-hyphenate, multi-passionate queen. As titles go, I’m a menstrual & fertility coach, wellbeing expert, teacher and the founder of Eleven Eleven Wellbeing (a brand which creates products to support women on their journey towards hormone balance). Previously, Louise has dabbled in journalism and have bylines at BBC 3, Channel 4 (when the former sites had blogs), Nursing Times, Heat Magazine and more.
